It has been raining all weekend and also today. I could not do anything that I had planned for yesterday. I wanted to go help with the harvest of oranges which is very funny because many people go and they serve food and drink. You wear a wide brimmed hat and walk the lines with a basket and the day goes by between fun and laughter. My mom told me not to go because I get sick very easily, so I stay quiet in the apartment reading and listening to my beloved neighbor’s steps like a crazy person. The rain is good but for a while and nothing more. When it rained for 72 hours you only enjoy it if you are a frog.
